API Reference Introduction

Certain provides access to your data on Certain through web services from our secure application programming interface (API). To use this feature, you should be familiar with software development, web services, and the Certain user interface.

This feature is enabled for all customers that have subscribed to the Web Services module. You will need a login and password to Certain in order to access Web Services.



Integrate Certain and Your Applications


The Certain Web Services API enables you to integrate your Certain account with other software applications. For example:

  • Connect your employee database with Certain to periodically transfer profile records and keep employee attendance history up-to-date
  • Increase the visibility of meetings and events data by accessing report data from within your intranet or CRM system
  • Publish a dynamically-updated list of events on your intranet or website
  • Integrate with marketing automation systems so that new leads captured at your events can be added to your lead database and marketed to

Certain API 2.0 Support


API configuration and use requires in house knowledge. Certain Support does not provide API consultation or advice. We offer a team of architects whose services can be scoped out upon request.
